On strikes
While the country is divided by strikes for the past few months, we've managed to find a strike-free day and travel across the city to the most modern theatre I've been to in the UK: it was open less than four years ago.
The theatre itself is quite large but as it used to be an indepedent television studio, it didn't really feel like a proper West End theatre (and it wasn't in West End either).
We were watching the Newsies, a Disney / Broadway musical inspired by 1899 Newsboys strike in New York, and everything from the storyline, to songs to choreography was really good.
