On celebrating the anniversary
This week my wife and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary, and while some cultures have the traditional names for dates, and associated gifts with them (at least in English-speaking countries it's common for the fifth-year gift to cut wood "on the day of celebration and then present [to the partner] as a finished item before the next two quarter days had passed"), I got treated to a ten-course tasting set cooked and plated by Sasha right in front of me.
