This week we went on a quick trip to Highlands to look around for wild garlic and morels. Ironically neither were spotted but Sasha somehow managed to find a handful of chanterelles, which are very much out of season but didn't look frozen so are probably fresh:
Back home I collected the first fruits of my labor three weeks ago: a few ventricina salami.
